Chinese (Napa)

To plant Chinese cabbage, choose a site with full sun and well-draining soil. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in early spring or late summer, as it prefers cooler weather. Space plants 12-18 inches apart in rows 24 inches apart. Keep soil consistently moist and weed-free. Fertilize lightly. Harvest when heads feel firm, typically 70-90 days after planting. Cut at the base to harvest the entire head. Protect from pests like aphids and cabbage worms.
